Welcome to Alan Cheville's personal web site.  This personal web site provides information on the various facets of my life.   As my personal site, it reflects my own views which do not necessarily agree with the views of any organization I work for...  In fact I would be ashamed if I was simply a doppelganger of my university, department, or agency. 

 

Please poke around, explore the links to sites I use frequently, learn about the projects I am working on, learn more about me, connect via social networks, or browse through more abstract thoughts.  While much of the information that appears here is mine, much more has been copied with attribution (if known), or shamelessly copied with the intent to preserve text and images that I find powerful, yet are in danger of vanishing due to the ephemeral nature of information on the internet.
